Introduction to the Series
After waking up from a catastrophic & humiliating fall in the center of Barcelona, in November 2016. Uri was diagnosed with Peripheral Vertigo, a disorder that can often prevent the eyes from focusing correctly.
Understanding the gravity of his situation Uri, worked hard to capture his new visions on canvas & spread the word about Vertigo. Glitched art, Photoshop-esque overtones & classic subjects merge to infuse the work with a disconcerting sensation.
The result of this effort was the widely acclaimed series Vértigo Periférico (Peripheral Vertigo).
Thankfully, Uri is feeling better… for the moment.
